A balanced coexistence

The gaze that inspires “THE FOREST NETWORK – A balanced coexistence” sets on the invisible that enlivens the forest. Small and large spaces where different creatures interact and collaborate for a vital balance. Intertwined existences that make up a complex, crowded but balanced social system. A community where every organism plays a precise role. The new KOHRO collection carefully captured the patterns of nature and the intelligence of its living beings, relentlessly working to communicate and cooperate together. All in a commendation of the lively natural dynamism but also of the essential to sustain life, which coincides with an industrious and peaceful balance.

In THE FOREST NETWORK fabrics, earthy tones dominate the scene and alternate with cold pinks, emeralds and turquoises in the contemporary patterns of UMBRA, PANTANAL and DENDRON. Inspired by the tree elements – foliage, roots, bark covered in moss and lichen – they take advantage of precious and clever textile contributions such as linen in DENDRON, or chenille in UMBRA. The structures, lighter in the linen transparencies in TETHYS or resistant in the wool construction of SEQUOIA, offer an innovative visual impact, also thanks to bright colours.

Patterns that trace lattices and capture reflections and hues, light and 3D geometries as in the cottons of DEW, PHYLLOS, and PINE LIGHT. Instead, it is silk that illuminates FJORD, recalling rocks, currents and glaciers – or ignites ATHABASKA’s precious lampas jacquard, reminiscent of ancient ritual forest bonfires. From the energy and balance of the forest comes a cross-section of shapes, nuances and application purposes, where decorative accessories, drapes, curtains, bedding and upholstered items find new natural inspirations.
